Who can apply

To be eligible to report your vehicle collision online, you must meet the following criteria:

  • The collision occurred in South Australia
  • No one was injured or killed
  • All drivers or owner(s) of the property provided their details
  • The incident was not a hit and run
  • No police vehicles were involved
  • No vehicles were towed or carried away
  • A fair estimate of all total property damaged is AUD$3,000 or less

If you do not meet the above criteria, or you want the police to investigate the collision and/or the actions of any party involved, report your collision to a police station within 24 hours.

Whilst drivers are not legally required to report these collisions to police, most choose to do so for insurance purposes.
